I spent this weekend in Northern Georgia. I love it up there in the fall. The colors the cool weather and Helen. I got off a little early from work and drove 8 hours to Helen, GA. Since I got in late, I opted to stay at a hotel. Got up 4:30 am and set off to the Springer Mountain trailhead. It was very cold when I got out of the truck. That didn’t last. I ended up stripping down to my t-shirt and wishing I had taken my shorts. I spent the entire day hiking this loop and ended up back where I started at the Springer Mountain Parking lot.

Very pretty pics! You did some good miles:-)
Great miles. Everyone of them. I love that country. The cool weather and sharp wind. To bad you guys couldn’t make it this go. Soon.
Ron! A little late but, great blog, thanks for sharing! Glad to see I’m not the only one that wears the odd-colored Stoic gear (can’t beat the price but..midnight and paprika colored jackets??)
I kinda like it. I am fond of their lime green stuff. I may actually have too much. Haha.
